EIT Climate-KIC trains students and PhD students to become climate innovators of the future. The aim is to make technological expertise, entrepreneurial spirit and methodological competence effective for the development of climate-friendly products.
Master students from selected degree programmes can complete a EIT Climate-KIC supplementary programme, which they complete with a certificate. In the doctoral programme, doctoral students are supported in developing entrepreneurial thinking and taking market aspects into account in their research. EIT Climate-KIC hosts Europe’s largest summer school in the climate field and enables young students to develop their first business ideas from their climate ideas. In the Impact Academy Climate, students can get a first taste of start-up thinking and develop and refine business ideas in ideation and business model development workshops.
If the idea is convincing, they have the chance to be accepted into the EIT Climate-KIC Greenhouse Program, which provides financial, conceptual and logistical support to young entrepreneurs in the further development of a start-up idea.
